Venice: NanotechItaly 2010, 20-22 Oct

NanotechItaly 2010, is an International Conference jointly organised by AIRI/Nanotec IT, the National Research Council (CNR) and Veneto Nanotech, to highlight, with the contribution of the most important Italian players in the field and renowned experts from abroad, situation and perspectives of nanotechnology.
The Conference will take place in Venice, from October 20th to October 22nd.
Comforted by the success of the past editions (Nanotec2008.it and Nanotec2009.it),the 2010 Conference will maintain its focus on application, with extended goals and contents. It aims to:

•Give a comprehensive picture of nanotechnology activity, perspectives and needs in Italy;
•Present the latest developments and trends at world level about research, applications and governance;
•Foster a debate amongst representatives of industry, public research, the financial community and governmental bodies to promote the development of nanotechnologies and cooperation.
The responsible development of nanotechnologies will be a key theme of the Conference.

The agenda of the 3 days event will focus on:

•NANO-GOVERNANCE
•NANOTECHNOLOGIES AND CHEMISTRY
•NANOMATERIALS
•NANO FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (ENERGY, TRANSPORT, ENVIRONMENT)
•NANO-MEDICINE
•NANO-TEXTILES AND CLOTHING
Networking will be a key feature of the conference to promote research and industrial collaborations, technology transfer.

Those interested to make an oral presentation or expose a poster are invited to send an abstract of their contribution by June 15th 2010 (instructions available onwww.nanotechitaly.it).
