Engineering or Material Science background required. Experience in commercial technical sales and/or business development of material technologies or engineered solutions required.
Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this specific role we will need an interim secret clearance just prior to start. Applicants will need to eventually pass a final secret clearance investigation as well after starting the role.
Selected individual will be provide Business Development support to Applied NanoStructured Solutions, LLC (ANS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation focused on commercializing a portfolio of nanomaterial intellectual property. Responsibilities will include coordinating pursuit of government R&D contracts, managing key customer relationships in both government and commercial markets, and development of new customers and market channels for ANS. This individual will also support product launch planning and collaborate closely with communications resources to manage the product positioning and branding of new ANS technologies. Ability to support both domestic and international travel in support of 25-50% of job responsibilities.

MBA, international business experience preferred. Previous experiences in technical leadership desired.
