The Opportunity:
The company currently has an opening for a Life Science Sales Representative – Nanotechnology to be based in TX, OK, AR or LA (Ideal base is Texas). All applicants must not be adverse to travel, as this is a position that may require you to travel when necessary.
Base: $50-70k per year
Bonus/Commission: $40k

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to achieve monthly, quarterly, annual and strategic product mix sales goals for the territory and install/set-up instruments in customer laboratories, and train customers. The Life Science Rep will identify and develop key accounts in the territory.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Responsible for demonstration inventory, including requesting equipment, set-up, conducting demonstrations, tear-down/packing and arranging shipping
- Compete all instrument installations in the assigned territory
- Compete all customer instrument training and application support in the assigned territory
- Ability to comprehend and communicate to customers the applications aspects of the equipment
Education and Experience Required:
BA/BS in Life Sciences or equivalent; M.S. or Ph.D. is a plus. Minimum 3 plus years sales experience in capital equipment, preferably Scientific sales, TEM, SEM sales. Understanding of Electron microscopy marketplace or a related discipline; Prior EM lab sales experience and previous work experience in an electron microscopy laboratory. Demonstrated success in selling at the highest levels. Candidate must be self motivated, goal oriented and results driven with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and comprehend scientific applications/markets is required.
