Office in the Washington, DC area needs a full-time staff member to help develop policies to encourage research and applications in Nanoscience and nanotechnology. Preference is for a Ph.D. degree holder in a relevant field and seven years of relevant experience, including some experience in nanoscience or nanotechnology research and development.
Provides top level scientific support and consultation to the office director, including making technical presentations to professional audiences on his behalf. Organizes meetings and participates in working groups. Develops and implements management systems and performance strategies. Provides guidance and direction to staff to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks. Performs drafting, final editing, and production of reports.
