Position Description Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a permanent scientific staff position in the Kodak Research Laboratories in Rochester, NY.
Position Description:
We are seeking a PhD physical chemist, polymer scientist, or materials scientist with demonstrated expertise in materials science at surfaces or materials interactions in constrained geometries.
Key Responsibilities:
Examples of such experience include polymer thin film properties, surface modification, materials interface or junction control, nanotechnology, or polymer dynamics at surfaces.
Minimum Requirements:
# PhD in physical chemist, polymer scientist, materials science or related
# 0-2 years of experience in related
# Experience with chemical interactions at interfaces
# Strong verbal and written communication skills
Required Skills:
# The successful candidate will be a creative, self-starting, team player, comfortable being with being challenged to originate novel, independent research ideas.
Desired Skills:
# Synthetic chemistry experience being a plus
# A demonstrated ability to effectively interact with interdisciplinary teams comprising engineers, physicists, materials scientists, surface scientists and others is highly desirable
