Two research scientist positions to study applications of ZnO nanorods for developing optical and chemical sensors. A Ph.D. in materials science or physics is required. Familiarity with ZnO nanorod fabrication and nanotechnology characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, AFM) are highly desirable. The preferred start date is Aug. 15, 2010. The position may be renewed in annualized increments for up to three years, contingent upon performance and funding.
