SAIC: From Science to Solutions ® The Advanced Technology Program (ATP) provides cutting edge expertise and technologies primarily in support of National Cancer Institute (NCI) investigators. Basic function will be in support of the Director of Operations Advanced Technology Program, with working knowledge in areas such as budgeting, metrics, and overall management of tasks assigned with little oversight. The position will entail performing a variety of high level functions that will include planning and implementation of overall scientific program strategies, space management and planning, and overall coordination of program level functions. Position will occasionally be required to interact with senior level government staff, and the candidate must possess excellent communications and customer service skills. This position reports to the Director of Operations, ATP. REQUIRED SKILLS: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field from an accredited college or university or four (4) years related experience in lieu of degree. Master’s degree preferred. Foreign educated candidates who have completed part or all of their education outside of the United States must have their foreign education evaluated by an SAIC-approved accrediting organization to assure that it has met the equivalency of the qualifications of degree work in the United States. In addition to education requirements, a minimum of eight (8)or more years of progressively responsible management experience including four years of technical and/or administrative experience related to biomedical research. Candidate should have experience in creating, tracking, and reporting program related metrics, preferably in a scientific metrics. This position is subject to obtaining a Public Trust Clearance.
