Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Material Sciences/Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field, from a college or university accredited by the USDOE or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate should be an experimentalist, having strong expertise in one of the following technical areas:
Emerging Nanoelectronics: Experience in nanoscale fabrication, characterization and device physics research; and, a publication record in nanoelectronics and related technologies.
Low-Dimensional Nanomaterials Research: Experience in growth of 1-D or 2-D nanostructures; general material characterization; exploration of nano-scale material properties; and, a publication record in nanomaterials.
Green Energy Technology: Research experience in nano-inspired solar cells or other energy harvesting technologies; exploration of materials and device technology; and, a publication record in relevant field.
Appointment is contingent on the availability of funding.
