Research assistantships are available for PhD students starting in fall 2010 to work in areas of noise control, acoustic materials and/or dynamics responses of nano-structure. The positions include a tuition waiver and monthly stipend. Students who have completed a Master degree in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, physics and other related fields are preferred, but exceptional students who have completed a Bachelors degree and have experience related to the research will also be considered.
