US: First Nano Division Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for design and development of the First Nano product line of standard and customized Semiconductor, Nanotechnology and Industrial Process Capital Equipment.  Successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability to manage and expand product offerings, develop new products based on customer requirements and market trends, and direct First Nano Engineering staff. Position requires occasional travel, and is based at CVD’s headquarters in Ronkonkoma , NY .

Wide process understanding, including Chemical Vapor Deposition techniques, is key to product development role. Position requires in-depth knowledge of capital process equipment operation, design, fabrication and assembly practices.  Successful candidate will demonstrate similar practical knowledge and experience in ongoing design of complex processing equipment, with a strong preference for prior experience in the Semiconductor or Nanotechnology industries.

Qualifications:

BSME or similar degree, MS preferred, experience in Semiconductor, Nanotechnology or comparable industry segment is a plus.  Candidate with exceptional experience may be exempt from degree requirements.

Must have experience with vacuum chamber design, sheet metal design, frame and panel assembly design, motion mechanisms.  Must have experience with various semiconductor industry processes such as resistance furnaces, infrared heating, RF induction heating, RF plasma generation, high purity reactive gas handling, pressure transducers, high vacuum pumps and measurement, transport mechanisms and wafer handling systems, etc.  Must be familiar with automated process control equipment design, manufacturing and operation.  Experience with rigging and transport of large process equipment is desirable.

Must have experience with 3D Solid Modeling CAD software.  Experience with AutoDesk Inventor 10 or 11 is preferred. Must be proficient with Windows OS and common office applications, including MRP software.

Experience with CNC Machining, CNC Sheetmetal workflow and CAM programming is highly desirable.
