Duties:

The USF Engineering Centers (NREC and CREC) invite application for an Associate Research Professor. The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Physical Science (Chemistry and Physics with strong background in Polymer), Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The candidate must have proven track-record of getting grants from federal/private agencies with experience of ten years or more working in interdisciplinary field of nanotechnology and energy fields. Preference will be given to candidates with strong research background in areas of polymer, nanomaterials, energy and electrochemistry related fields. Applicants must have the ability to establish a strong research program. The successful applicant must have a track record of publication in high-impact scientific journals and a demonstrated ability for innovation and original research. Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills are also important.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Normally will have produced creative work, professional writing or research in referred and other professional journals. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor.
