A Senior Applied Research Chemist is required to join a innovative Nanotechnology company. The companies technology is a unique Organic Nanocoating that, when applied to subjects via an enhanced PVD, makes them impervious to water and oil. The uptake has been massive and the Technologys’ applications are vast. They provide coating technology for a variety of industries including textiles, consumer durables, electronics, energy, medical devices etc

The company is expanding their technology portfolio by furthering their research into the current coating and potentially into functional coatings.

To support this growth they are looking for a Senior Applied Research Chemist to join the current Applied Research Team to work on new breakthroughs, applications and enhancements to the existing technology.

Key Tasks:

• You will be working on multiple development topics and projects as required
• To lead projects with a chemistry and surface analysis bias taking responsibility for completion
• To manage projects ensuring they meet project deliverables.

Experience

Education:

• A PhD or good 2:1/1st Degree in a Chemistry/Chemistry related subject
