Scientist – Diagnostic Device Development

Our client develops novel systems and technologies for biotechnological and medical applications. Due to ongoing success they are now seeking to recruit a Scientist to join their team.
In this role, you will contribute and lead technically demanding technology projects to a group with core business in diagnostics, bio-instrumentation and surgical technology. You will engage in a technically and commercially stretching environment whilst effectively integrating with the team.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate with be degree educated or equivalent in a relevant scientific/technical subject coupled with multidisciplinary doctoral and/or employment experience. Excellent communication skills and a strong interest in medical device development with a focus on system development is essential. Experience in one or more of the following areas of diagnostic device development is required: biosensors, DNA analysis, point of care systems, microfluidics, application of nanotechnologies and implantable devices.
