A Postdoctoral is required to synthesise and characterise chemically-modified carbon nanostructures and related conjugated organic molecules. The work will be supervised by Professor Martin R. Bryce (Durham University) and will involve close collaboration with Professor Colin Lambert and his group (Department of Physics, Lancaster University) who will perform theoretical calculations. The post is funded by a leading multinational company. Funding is available for the post for up to 48 months from 01 April 2010.
