IOTA NanoSolutions is a nanotechnology company that specialises in the formation of organic nanoparticles. The technology has applications across a wide range of markets, from pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals to cosmetics and foods.
As part of the continued growth of the company we have an opportunity for a Research Assistant to join our research team in our laboratories in MerseyBio, delivering novel materials to our external partners and contributing to our internal research programme.
The ideal candidate will hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent with experience of working in a busy research laboratory environment. An understanding of organic chemistry is essential together with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
As IOTA NanoSolutions is a fast-moving start-up company you will be expected to work as part of a team and be prepared to meet tight deadlines.
The position is available initially for a six month period. Candidates must be available for work from the beginning of May 2011.
