Imperial College’s Faculty of Engineering is offering a range of PhD studentships for Home, EU and Overseas students starting in academic year 2013/14, including fully funded studentships.
The Faculty of Engineering supports world-leading research and scholarship through innovation in core engineering disciplines and the development and application of novel engineering solutions to major world and societal problems. We are seeking high calibre graduates in a range of engineering disciplines to undertake PhDs in the Departments of Aeronautics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computing, Earth Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering.
Successful candidates will form part of a cohort of PhD students working on intellectually challenging multidisciplinary projects within the following themes:

Over 70 studentships are available. Fully funded PhD studentships cover the cost of Home/EU fees, an annual maintenance grant (at the RCUK specified rate plus London weighting) plus a contribution towards research costs.
