UK: Lecturer Nanotechnology & Materials

We are seeking to appoint a talented academic seeking a good first post in which to build their independent research and teaching career. The appointee’s main roles will be to teach Physical Chemistry and to establish and develop their own strong independent research group in an area which aligns with one or more of the Departmental three research themes: Nanotechnology & Materials, Miniaturising Chemistry and Molecules for Health.

The successful applicant must have a PhD in Chemistry or a related subject, a strong track record of high quality publications and with some years postdoctoral research experience. It will be advantageous for candidates to be able to demonstrate experience and ability in both teaching Chemistry at University level and in winning external research funding.
