Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Experimental Biophysics or Nanotechnology, to commence from September 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The lectureship will be based in the Department of Physics, and is part of a significant investment by King’s College London to strengthen and expand the Department. The successful candidate will have a strong research record and a proposed research programme which will fit with exisiting research within the Experimental Biophysics and Nanotechnology Group of the Physics Department, in one or more of the following areas: biophotonics; cell imaging; single molecule biophysics; nanoparticles; nanophotonics and plasmonics.
The successful candidate will be expected to: engage in internationally-leading research and maintain an outstanding track record of research in this area; contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and other academic activities within the Department of Physics.
The salary is offered on Grade 7, currently within the range of £40,162 to £47,478 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
