Fully Funded PhD Studentships for UK/EU Students
Applications are invited from graduates in engineering and the physical and life sciences for four-year studentships in the newly-funded Centre for Doctoral Training in Molecular-Scale Engineering. The EPSRC funded Centre brings together internationally-leading researchers at the Universities of Leeds and Sheffield and will recruit 30 students over the next three years. Its focus is to train researchers to doctoral level in exciting, cross-disciplinary technology-led areas of molecular nanoscience.

- £13,590 (tax free) per annum including fees and maintenance
- 6 places available for September 2013 entry.
Our Centre provides a carefully structured and extensive programme of taught, cross-disciplinary training, including advanced laboratory training that includes hands-on access to state-of-the-art instrumentation, a series of rotations through research laboratories to sample areas of activity prior to selection of a PhD, international and industrial internships, and the opportunity to pursue doctoral training with world-class academics working at the forefront of molecular scale engineering.
