This exciting Nano-Technology Coating Company is rapidly expanding to support the success and demand for its product.

The product itself is a unique Organic Nanocoating Technology that, when applied to subjects via an enhanced PVD, makes them impervious to water and oil. The uptake has been massive and the products’ applications are vast. They provide coating technology for a variety of industries including textiles, consumer durables, electronics, medical devices… and this is just the start!

To support this expansion they are looking for an Applied Research Technician to support the current Applied Research Team to work on new breakthroughs, applications and enhancements to the existing technology.

The company is fresh and exciting they have recently moved into gorgeous brand new site with excellent state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to work with.

You will be undertaking laboratory works, generating reports and procedures. You will contribute to applied research projects and contribute to developing and optimizing new process. As well as contributing to the development of new test methods.

AS a potential candidate for the role of Applied Research Technician you will have:
* Experience working in a commercial scientific environment
* A deep understanding of Materials in the Molecular level
* Experience of Lab Work and Good Analytical Skills
* A minimum of a Bachelors Degree (BSc) in the Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering , Physical Chemistry)  or Molecular Biology
