You’re an ambitious graduate keen to begin a career in IT. You want to be challenged to lead. See your work impact lives around the world and get to grips with remarkable technologies like intelligent hardware and groundbreaking nanotechnology applications. Start as you mean to go on – at HP.

We’re one of the world’s largest IT companies, renowned for our innovation and thought leadership. Our business is about simplifying technology experiences for 1 billion customers worldwide, from individual consumers to the largest corporations, by providing the complete technology portfolio.

Our 18-month Graduate Development Programme will equip you for an international career. It offers a potent combination of on-the-job learning, world-class training to develop technical and ‘soft’ skills, and support to gain professional qualifications. You’ll be taking a series of rotations, mainly at client sites, applying your newly learned skills to live projects and gaining broad exposure to our business. All in all, the programme has been carefully designed to help you realise your full potential.

Qualifications

We want to hear from enthusiastic, flexible graduates with at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a Computer Science, IT, Engineering or relevant technical subject. Experience of programming languages, such as Java, C++ or C#, are also important. Naturally you’ll need computer literacy, which should include knowledge of Microsoft packages. But just as important will be your interpersonal, team-working and time management skills. Good written and spoken English will ideally be supplemented by additional language skills.

As well as the chance to begin a learning journey from day one, you’ll immediately qualify for an excellent range of benefits including 25 days’ annual leave with the option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ days, plus pension and medical cover.
