Nanotech Northern Europe takes place from 23rd to 25th September 2008 in Bella Centre, Copenhagen. The event is intended to be a place for the global nanotechnology community to meet, collaborate, and do business. We recognize that nanotechnology encompasses a huge range of technologies, at differing stages of development. That’s why Nanotech Northern Europe not only features excellent research work, but also enables companies to convey their visions for the market impact of nanotechnology, or to demonstrate their commercial products in our fully-integrated exhibition.

Nanotech Northern Europe 2008 combines an international nanotechnology conference, exhibition and tech transfer event in an exciting new setting in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Long description

The 2008 event covers three application areas: Energy and Environment, ICT, and Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine. The conference will feature work from leading academics and companies on the latest scientific breakthroughs and industrial uses of nanotechnology, whilst technology transfer sessions will offer opportunities for start-ups and universities to market their technologies.

The 2008 event is organised by a comprehensive consortium of partners, including the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation (DASTI), the Nano-Science Center at the University of Copenhagen, and iNANO, the interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center at the University of Aarhus and Aalborg University.Nanotech Northern Europe also welcomes back Nokia as an event partner for the fourth year in succession.
