The unique properties of Sandvik Nanoflex open up a spectrum of possible applications. Because of the extreme strength, the material shows excellent results for mechanical applications. The strength also enables very thin thickness of the material and thereby very low weight. This is an advantage for applications such as lightweight chassis and sports and outdoor equipment for extreme conditions. The formability, wear resistance and not to forget the corrosion resistance are important properties since the material is used for high class electrical shavers that can be rinsed in water.
