This symposium is the second in the series on nanotechnology for the World Future Society in terms of pre-conference activities. The highly successful, first symposium was held in Chicago in July 2005 in response to a substantial number of requests on this critical area of research and technology that has the potential for significant impact on the social, economic, and cultural fabric of modern society. This symposium format offers a great deal of in-depth detail and audience dialogue, and a chance to network with leaders in nanotechnology.
