The Center will have a wide spectrum of activities to promote study and development of living technology, including:

* Promote, realize and coordinate research activities aimed at living technology.
* Promote, support and organize teaching activities, and high-level training in living technology.
* Offer consulting and research services to agencies, institutions and firms in the area of living technology.
* Sponsor scientific meetings, workshops, publications and exhibitions for the development and diffusion of Center research.
* Coordinate long-term visitors to the Center.
* Organize public seminars, both technical seminars open to the local academic community, and divulgatory seminars aimed at broader public dissemination.
