U-Right International Holdings Limited ("the Group") was listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 13 November 2000. The Group is principally engaged in the design, manufacture, distribution and retailing of men and ladies casual wear. The products are distributed in Hong Kong and the PRC under the brand name of U-RIGHT through franchise shops and self-managed shops. In 2001, the Group obtained Texcote processing technology from Sweden and applied it on textile products and garments. After Texcote treatment, clothing possesses the functionalities of being stain resistant, water repellent as well as environmental-friendly. Not only can the technology be applied on the Group's products, it can also be promoted on finished clothing of other brand names. In addition, the Group has successfully explored the application of the processing technology to other commercial goods that include paper, glass, tiles, paint, emulsion paint, wood products, etc. The Group is now seeking out strategic business partners and licensees of Texcote technology together to exhibit the industry advantages and to open up business opportunities.
