Nanotechnology vision

I'm concerned that molecular nanotechnology manufacturing may be coming sooner than most people expect, and that the consequences could be very bad if the world is caught unprepared. That's why I co-founded the Center for Responsible Nanotechnology with Chris Phoenix in 2002, to raise awareness of the issues. The humanitarian potential of advanced nanotechnology is enormous; so is the potential for misuse. The vision of CRN is a world in which nanotechnology is widely used for productive and beneficial purposes, and where malicious uses are limited by effective administration of the technology.
