Spain: PhD thesis in Nanoparticles and Self-Healing Materials

We are looking for a PhD student with a Master degree in Chemistry or Materials Science who is willing to develop frontier research in hollow nanoparticles and nanostructures.

Previous experience on the fabrication and characterization of nanoparticles as well as degree grades higher than 2 will be required.

The research will be focused on the preparation and characterization of new nanostructures and nanoparticles, (with dimensions within the micro-/nanometer scale). These structures are expected to encapsulate repairing materials that are active upon application of pressure or other external stimuli. In addition, their integration into the materials will be explored.
