The EMaS Research Center announces PhD student positions in the field of materials engineering and micro/nanosystems.
Our research center, from the Rovira i Virgili University and formed by 7 research groups, is highly multidisciplinary, with expertise in nanoelectronics, photonics, crystallography, nanotechnology, heterogeneous catalysis, computational modelling, fluid mechanics, and microsystems technology. The successful applicants will work with investigators of one or several of the EMaS research groups.
We seek qualified, highly motivated candidates. Requirements include a degree in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering, or a related Master’s degree. Advanced spoken and written English is also required.

- The average mark is obtained by dividing the total number of points by the total number of credits. The number of points is calculated using the Spanish equivalence (grades on a scale of 10): 5-7/10 = 1 point; 7-8.5/10 = 2 points; 8.5-9.9/10 = 3 points; 10/10 = 4 points. Duration: 48 moths maximum
Salary: 11.250€ per year during the first year, increasing every year. Highly qualified candidates will be encouraged to apply for a PhD fellowship.
