Non-Clinical Lecturer in Cancer Nanotechnology

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7 or 8. The salary range will be Grade 7: £36,064 to £39,132; Grade 8: £40,216 to £47,441 per annum, both inclusive of London Allowance.
We have a vacancy for a Lecturer to carry out research and teaching in the field of Cancer Nanotechnology within the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science. The successful candidate will develop their own research programme as well as working with others in the group. The post is based at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead.
The postholder must have a PhD in a Biomedical Science subject and/or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications in quality peer-reviewed journals. Experience of high quality academic research in the field and the ability to attract grant funding for research is essential. The successful applicant will teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Candidates seeking appointment at grade 8 must have proven ability to supervise academic work by undergraduates, masters and doctorate students.
