Dr. Woodhead was appointed Director of AMR's Nanotechnology Centre in October 2000. Prior to joining AMR in 1998 as Senior Technical Associate, Dr. Woodhead was for more than 30 years a senior scientist with the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority in Harwell, England. During this time, he was responsible for more than 25 international patents. In 1985, he joined Alcan International as Principal Scientist to generate new business from laboratory - based technologies. In addition to carrying out process development and a program of technology transfer at AMR's plants and laboratories, Dr. Woodhead serves on AMR's global Technical Advisory Committee.
