Axion Power International is a small, innovative research and development company engaged in the advancement of a line of hybrid electrical energy storage batteries based on its proprietary E3 Cell technology.

Initially, we plan to develop our E3 Cell technology for use in "fixed" installations like uninterruptible power supply equipment, backup power supplies for telecommunications and cable television systems and surplus energy storage systems for wind and solar energy generators.

In the future, we plan to expand our focus to additional markets, including "mobile" applications, such as golf carts, electric wheelchairs and forklifts; possibly even entering the market of battery systems for hybrid automobiles.

Axion Power International shares are quoted on the OTC Pink Sheets (Symbol: AXPW). As our company grows and our business develops, we hope to rapidly graduate to the OTC Bulletin Board, the American Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq Stock Market.
