Biophan develops and markets cutting-edge technologies for the medical device industry. The Company's goal is to develop biomedical devices that improve the delivery of healthcare.

Biophan, through its subsidiary, Myotech, is working to develop and commercialize the Myotech Circulatory Support System (CSS), a novel, non-blood-contacting heart pump that has significant potential for improving the treatment of acute heart failure.

Committed to growth through innovation and developmental leadership, Biophan currently owns or has exclusive license to over 40 US patents, with more than 60 patent applications pending in the US or foreign countries.

Biophan has demonstrated technology leadership through the quality of its partnerships and customers. Biophan executed a license agreement with Boston Scientific Corporation in 2005, and sold some of its MRI safety patents to Medtronic for $11 million in 2007. Biophan also has a joint development agreement with the NASA Ames Center for Nanotechnology.

Biophan is traded on the OTC market under the symbol BIPH, and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol BTN.
