MBN Nanomaterialia SpA developed a proprietary process for producing Mechanomade® powders by HIGH ENERGY MILLING.

This process is highly flexible and allows the production of nanophased materials by combination of: reaction milling, mechanical alloying and high energy mixing.

Mechanomade® materials range from extremely light alloys to cemented carbides, from high strength coppers to ceramics, polymers and metal matrix nanocomposites.

MBN was founded in 1994 and has now a production capacity of nanomaterials of 200 ton/year.

The process of HIGH ENERGY MILLING is highly flexible and allows the production of nanomaterials by combination of: reaction milling, mechanical alloying and high energy mixing.

Mechanomade® materials range is very wide: from extremely light alloys to cemented carbides; from high strength coppers to ceramics and metal matrix nanocomposites; from special polymer membranes for textiles to nanocharging in polymer matrixes.
