The American Association of Nanotechnology (AANano), is a non-profit organization, and an affiliate member of the International Association of Nanotechnology (http://www.ianano.org)

AANano promotes the exchange of knowledge and research collaborations, facilitating dialogue, conducting advanced educational programs, heightening public awareness, evaluating the environmental and societal impact, and studying potential regulations and public policy concerning nanotechnology development in the United States of America and around the world.

The AANano co-organizes regional meeting and international congress for bringing clarity and focus to the scientific research, business development, technology transfer, venture capital investment, regulatory affairs, environmental and societal aspects of Nanotechnology.
