Our technology is based on a proprietary microfluidic platform called Flow Focusing. Flow Focusing Technology is based on a combination of specific geometry and hydrodynamic forces, making it a very versatile microfluidic system. The phenomenon is characterised by the presence of a steady micro-jet which is “sucked” through a small orifice, and breaks up into well defined droplets within the micro and nanometric range. Solidification of these particles gives rise to capsules with infinite applications. Nowadays, our engineers and scientists have developed and optimized the technology, achieving particles smaller than 1 microns without using external excitation.
