iCeutica’s strategy is to share in the value created for pharmaceutical companies when they successfully extend the product life cycle of a blockbuster product. Pharmaceutical companies constantly strive to extend the franchise for their billion dollar revenue compounds as patent expiry looms, by introducing new formulations, combinations with other drugs, or innovative delivery methods, all of which are usually coupled with renewed patent protection, FDA exclusivity periods and enhanced marketing campaigns. iCeutica initially aims to extract upfront payments and ongoing royalties from delivering new formulations and patent coverage to owners of billion dollar revenue products, but will in time seek to reformulate and launch its own reformulations as revenues grow.

The EON™ Platform provides a simple and scalable process to reformulate a range of different drugs which are currently patented, or which generate significant revenues even though they are now generic. iCeutica’s commercial approach aims to capture more of the value delivered to large pharma by their current PLE strategies.
