Midwest nanotechnology safety workshop

The workshop will feature a mix of nanotechnology experts and practitioners from various universities and government organizations, and will focus on environmental, health and safety issues associated with this field. Featured speakers include Dr. Andrew Maynard of the Woodrow Wilson
Institute and Dr. Gurumurthy Ramachandran from the University of Minnesota.

Long description :

The University of Wisconsin (event host), Iowa State University, The University of Akron, the Campus Safety, Health and Management Association (CSHEMA), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), has co-organized the Midwest Nanotechnology Safety Workshop, which will be held May 20-22, 2007 in Madison, Wisconsin.
