In-situ Nanomanipulation Open Day and Workshop

Short description :

This workshop will host ten expert speakers in the areas of nanomanipulation, nanomechanics, nano-tomography, control engineering and in-situ SPM. This event is part of the mid-project outreach activities of our RCUK funded Basic Technology project entitled 'Nanorobotics-Technologies for Simultaneous Multidimensional Imaging and Manipulation of Nanoobjects' see www.nanomanipulation.org for further details. The project is collaboration between the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University, and the University of Nottingham

Abstracts for poster contributions are invited, in the areas of:

* Nanomanipulation
* Nanomechanics
* Nano-tomography
* In-situ SPM

Speakers will include:

Dr Jean-Marc Breguet, EPFL, Switzerland

Prof M.S. Bobji, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India

Dr Michael Uchic, Air force research laboratory, Dayton, USA

Registration deadline: Friday 15th June 2007
