Nanotechnology is increasingly considered to be the future technology. Nanotechnology provides access to the world of the smallest things. The possible applications of this technology are immense. Nanotechnology is dealing with research and the construction in the sphere of very small structures: one nanometre is one millionth of a millimetre. Moreover it is playing with the atoms. The worldwide need for nanotechnology workers is expected to reach 2 million by 2015.

President of India Dr. A.P.J. Kalam has already taken up big initiative to increase the human resource in this emerging field. It's our turn to become the leader in this technology because revolution in Information Technology has come up only after Indians has taken this seriously.
