CytoViva’s high resolution adapter is an optimized darkfield-based system. It can enable live cell structures to be imaged at a level of detail not available with traditional imaging techniques such as DIC or Phase Contrast. CytoViva has also become a powerful tool for optically imaging emulsions, nano-particles and nano-composites by themselves, or combined with living specimens.

CytoViva’s Dual Mode Fluorescence module (or DMF) attaches to the Cytoviva high resolution adapter and provides the ability to simultaneously observe fluorescent and non-fluorescent sample structures.
