The laboratory was established in 1983 and known as Laser Single Atom Detection (LSAD) Laboratory. It was approved as an open laboratory by Ministry of Education in 1990. With the broadening of research area, the laboratory was renamed in 2001 as Key Laboratory of Atomic and Molecular NanoSciences (AMNS), Ministry of Education.

3. Synthesization and Characterization of Nano Materials .
