Nanotechnology for Security and Crime Prevention (Royal society)

Short description :

This one day event will examine a wide spectrum of new scientific developments taking place in the fight against crime. The latest discoveries and advances will be discussed, from anti-terrorism laser technology with the potential to revolutionise airport security to the latest research discoveries in nanoforensics.

Long description :

Professor Russell Cowburn of Imperial College, London, winner of the Degussa European Science-to-Business Award 2006, will be presenting.

Confirmed speakers also include the Forensic Science Service, the Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science, Authentix, Cranfield University, the Forensic Telecommunications Services and University of Sheffield.
