Nanotechnology will be the change enabler of this century. All materials will be changed. Applications will be invented, and old applicaitons will be improved. Despite the emphasis currently on nanoelectronics, the biggest impact of nanotechnology will probably occur in the fields of energy and medicine, where the barriers to entry are lower.
