LiftPort Carbon is pursuing research & development in the areas of:

-Strength
-Quality
-Composites
-Single and Multi-walled Construction
-Mass Production in commercially useful quantities (tons per day)

The LiftPort Carbon R&D effort is multi-pronged. LPC has established relationships with a number of universities and research centers. We have also attracted interest from several venture capital funds. In Q2 of 2004 we expect to set up our first carbon nanotube development and testing lab. In addition, LiftPort Carbon has established a relationship with the Canadian consulate, and is working towards creating a carbon nanotube research center in Victoria, British Columbia.
