nanoparticles.org was launched in 2000 as a site to advertise the international conference Particles 2001 held in Orlando, Florida, 24-27 February 2001, on particle synthesis, particle characterization, and particle-based advanced materials. It has transformed into a general information site attempting to cover all significant application areas of particle technology.

While nanoparticles.org remains a primary venue for advertising the Particles 2001, 2002, etc., conference series, it also provides announcements of upcoming conferences, symposia and meetings (open to the public) focusing on particle technology. It further offers opportunities for commercial interests to advertise their particle-related products and services such as particle characterization instrumentation, particle standards, specialized particles, etc. This site is also being developed to provide introductory and specialized information on particle technology in the Primers section, by publishing, on line, selected review articles by acknowledged experts.
nanoparticles.org is owned and maintained by Particles Conference, 265 Clover Street, Rochester, New York 14610-2246. Please direct any questions or suggestions to: webmaster@nanoparticles.org .
