MANA was formed in the fall of 2004 and is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA). MANA is the catalyst to the region's transformation with a mission to build the critical infrastructure needed to translate today's emerging nanotechnology developments into practical applications that spur economic development for the Mid-Atlantic region.
