AdvanceTEC, LLC was founded in 2000 by Tim Loughran and John Burton who collectively have designed and constructed over 500,000 sq. ft. of cleanroom space from Class 1 to 100,000.

AdvanceTEC is a cleanroom and laboratory design/build contractor specializing in the microelectronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. We have extensive staff experience in designing, constructing, and installing process systems and tools. In addition to AdvanceTEC construction services we have an extensive resume in process tool installation, cleanroom retrofit projects, and sustaining work contracts.

AdvanceTEC has created strategic alliances with clients such as Turner Construction Company, Merck Pharmaceuticals, The US Navy, The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), we are a leader in facilities developed for Nanotechnology Research, with contracts currently in place for research facilities at The Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC, Purdue University, Penn State University, and The University of Maryland.

AdvanceTEC was the recent recipient of the 2004 Greater Richmond Technology Council Ernst & Young Emerging Company award. Over 160 nominees were received for six categories. Each category was narrowed down to five finalists, with one winner selected. This was the first year AdvanceTEC was nominated.
