The NanoChip Molecular Biology Workstation, our first commercial product, is an automated, multi-purpose instrument primarily used for DNA-based analyses. Researchers in the field of molecular biology and genetics use the platform to study how genes function and to understand the correlation between genetic variation and disease. The NanoChip System can also be used for human identification, important in the forensics field.
