NTERA Ltd. is a Dublin-based nanotechnology company founded in 1997 with objectives to develop and commercialise nanomaterial-based product applications. Our technology and applications use modified nanostructured metal oxide films in visual and display related products. NTERAs nanostructured film products are marketed under the brand name NanoChromics.

NanoChromics enables a display device to have ink-on-paper like qualities while at the same time enabling a device that can switch rapidly and remain in a given state once switched, thereby significantly reducing the power consumption. The devices can be built on low cost substrates such as glass or plastic. This technology has significant applications in the smart windows and mirrors, displays, information signage, customer point of sale and instrumentation end markets and has potentially many more applications.

NTERAs vision is to be the leading supplier of nanomaterials technology used in display based products and processes in the world.
